Select Teams for the 5th/6th & 7th/8th Grades
This year we plan to host a 5th/6th grade select team as well as a 7th/8th grade select team. We plan to have tryouts on February 9th at 7:30AM. The tryouts will be evaluated by individuals without children in the grades to make the selection process unbiased.
To participate in the tryouts we need you to register on the WYGL website. This is critically immportant that you register ASAP so that we can gauge teh level of interest as we need to commit to the League by January 15th. There is no cost to participate in the tryout. For the girls selected for the team there will be a $100 fee.

Founders League Select Program
The Founders League Select plays all games on Friday nights starting at 6:30pm. The league is comprised of all the towns that participate in the town league. Teams are made up of 16-20 girls. There will be six guaranteed games, and possibly a 7th depending on teams and field availability. At the end of the season they will have a one night Tournament of Champions.

This is a competitive League where playing time is rewarded for your good play and commitment. To participate in this program, you must be registered for the Town Program as well.
Registration & Tryouts
On the website (http://walpolegirlslacrosse.org) there is a separate registration for the select teams. There will be no cost to register for the select team. For those girls that register, there will be a tryout on February 9th to select the team. You MUST register to participate in the tryout. Each team will be made up of 16-20 girls. There will be a cost of $100 per player selected for the team.
